RED IS THE NEW BLACK

Avatarrandom rantings and rabid retorts of a socially-retarded, decidedly high-strung, renewed romantic

music and madness

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Aldous Huxley

Allow me to borrow the words the poets of harmonies have so effectively distilled. For in the looming procession towards that day of the cardiac collaboration, my prose often fail massively in transcending the chasms between emotion and memory, of reminiscing and reminding, of affection and adulation, of pain and paradise.

Music, my solitary companion in the plight of my daily commutes, and ambulatory annexes, narrates stories my heart will undoubtedly refuse to expound on. Not because of bitterness and resentment, nor of disappointments and discretions, but because prose rarely affords me the gift of precision, something poetry and music, with its interpretative nature, effortlessly elucidates.

So for the next few days, I invite you to take a journey with me through the seasons of song, in the words of the arias of affectionate affairs.

THE ARIAS OF AFFECTIONATE AFFAIRS.

I can relate to that quote. My iPod is my constant companion wherever I go and there are moments when unexplainable emotions just seem to make sense while listening to some of the tracks there.

I'll surely be looking forward to those series of posts. =)

@Icy Flame And music is a companion that mirrors our psyche. She expounds and magnifies what our hearts oscillate of. That is why, in seasons like this, I turn to her to remind me of my own frailty and ultimately resilience. By doing so, serenity is regained. Thanks for dropping by. :)
