I wish I had better words, elegantly-crafted and superbly phrased, so I can capture what it feels like to be with you. I wish I had the ability to transcend the temporal, time and space, so I can be both here where I must be, and there where I long to, where your breath falls warm upon my chest. I wish I had limitless time, so we can watch the sun rise again, and again, and again, blanketed by the moist dew of daybreak. I wish I had the means to take you away from the rote and grueling, far where we could spend the whole day comforted by caffeine and burrowed in our books. But alas, fate crafted that I do not possess any of these, and all I could do is wish. To stay with you for as long as you’ll have me, for as long as my fingers fit between yours, for as long my embrace keeps you safe, and for as long as I make you happy, because you make me happy.

Thank you Froyo, for such an awesome, delightful, and exquisite year. Of witty repartees, levity and laughter, of Jollibee crispy fries and saj bursting with cheese, of art films and rom-com’s, of geek-out discourses, and wonderful conversations, hot vespers and cool morwens, calm silences and dynamic dialectics. There really isn’t much I can ask for.
