typography IV - inciting incredulity

In the spirit of fair-mindedness, I am sharing this video for your perusal. Let me state this as a disclaimer that although the video and its contents are portrayed as credited facts, I challenge you; an intelligent, educated, and sound-thinking audience, to validate and verify the information presented herein. I am neither discrediting nor reinforcing this content, merely sharing it for the sake of impartial indignation. The bottomline here is not that the video attempts to expose certain longstanding theories, or that it is obviously unilateral in its target, but that it affects us – to become indignant advocates of truth, to awaken the inquisitive and the questioning, to begin the process that peels away ignorance by incredulity.

My personal opinions do not matter at this point. The content is simple, straightforward and expansive enough for people to formulate their own assessment of it. But as a word of caution, be reminded that nothing is completely dichotomous and Boolean. There will always be shades to a story that the act of opining polarizes. It is our sole responsibility, as free-thinkers, to evaluate the information as it best suits our values and convictions. There are no wrong answers, no invalid actions.

Some call it propaganda, and I cannot contest this because its objective is to influence opinion, despite the benefactor of that opinion remaining vague. And, in the same breath, it establishes the corollary that all forms of education is, and quite surprisingly, a form of propaganda. Information is never neutral, only because free will imposes it upon everything. There are no neutral facts, merely evident opinions of information.

A voice is never just a voice. Its sound is always propelled by motive.

[On a personal note, I primarily gravitated towards this video because of the kinetic typography it employs, a method of animation that I am currently obsessing about. I particularly enjoyed the aural cues and transitions employed by the animator/ creator that effectually incite a specific emotional response through the sublime. Being a detail-oriented person, the nuanced and cinematic use of sound and the effective punctuation of pauses and silences, the choices of palette and font, and the balance of vivid and dark gave me a virtual buffet of details that I could peruse, distill, analyze and infer from.]

I saw this just a couple of days ago. Quite surprised with the turnout. (I'm sorry I didn't read your post yet as I'mon my way to school na, but I'll get back to this later) The stuff stated in the expository video is also worth thinking about. 15 minutes were spent wisely.

@LanchiE It's fine. Take your time. It is a rather lengthy video, so patience is expected. And I can relate to the wi-fi freeloading bit. Hahaha.

I agree. I watched this video and found out that it had big claims yet had little sources to back them up.

@Raymond Agree to what, in particular? Maybe you've misread me. I never mentioned it having "big claims yet had little sources to back them up." There were sources noted in the video, all I'm asking is for people to be incredulous about it. :)

Haha. My mistake. Let me rephrase my comment: I agree that people should be incredulous about it. Although personally, I think it presented insufficient sources to back up their claims. :)

This is only a conspiracy theory based on misinterpretation of evidence, irrational thinking, exaggeration and coincidence. A merely black propaganda used to discredit the Cojuangco and Aquino families. I challenged everyone to go over the million pages of Philippine History books, correspondents, media reports before making biased conclusion on these 15 minutes delusional presentation.

@RainDarwin Your indignant conviction is refreshing. Of course, as I've said, there is no such thing as a neutral, objective fact. There is no misinterpretation, just interpretation.
